How to Dress for a Wine Tasting Date

By Kerry Tinerman

Going on a wine tasting date is a very good way to get things rolling with your date. Wine tasting is fun and is usually a good way to lighten up with someone. In case you're going to go on a wine tasting date, it is important that you dress properly. If you are wondering how to dress, these are some excellent suggestions for you.

Dependent on the destination of the wine tasting date, you should wear appropriate clothing. You should try to look good for your date and present yourself well because there are other folks at the different locations you'll visit. Dressing in casual clothes is the most suitable option. This will enable you to move around without trouble. If you wear formal clothing your moves will be limited and you'll feel conscious because others will most likely be wearing simpler outfits.

A cool linen dark colored wide leg cut jean is an excellent choice. You can match it with a fitted cotton blouse and pewter sandals. Make sure that you also bring a tote bag where you can put some of your personal stuff. Ensure that you do not wear too much cologne or perfume before the date because it will effect the enjoyment of the wine's aroma.

In most wine tasting dates, you will get to sample about 4 - 6 wines. Don't worry because in each wine glass there will only be around an oz of wine . If you're not used to drinking wine, you should try to limit yourself and not attend more than one wine tasting location.

Wear the right attire and in the event of an accidental spill, you don't have to worry because your pants are dark-colored. Taking out stains from Kahaki pants are way more troublesome. Get ready for the date in advance. If you have limited casual wear in your wardrobe, you can borrow or take advantage of sales. Casual attire can be worn all over again, so it won't be wasted.
