The aroma diffused from the drip pots surely rekindles all the inactive energy in the body. There are so many Kopi Luwak for sale that most people just love having.

This coffee is basically one the most pricey in the world. The very reason of its excessive cost is the low production. This is an output of the beans of coffee berries which are mostly found in Bali, Java and Sumatra. These beans are consumed mostly by Asian palm civets.

The coffee's origin draws back in the 18th century when the Dutch colonizers started having cash crop plantations in Java and in the island of Sumatra. These colonizers restricted the natives to pick the coffee fruits for their sake. It was sooner when the natives realized that the civets or luwaks ate most of such coffee fruits.

The natives started to collect the dropping coffee seeds of the civets. They clean the, roast and, then grind to make a coffee beverage. Soon after, its reputation spread across the different Dutch plantation owners who eventually loved to have them.

Countless of studies have been conducted to investigate the process on how the stomach acids and enzyme of animals digest and ferment the beans. Food scientists claim that the endogenous digestive secretions of a civet that carry proteolytic enzymes pass through the beans.

A number of small cafes in the world have put such coffee on menus. The prices are really high. Yet, its rich and strong aroma and taste never fail to attract the customers across different ages. Shop prices can vary depending on the need of customers.
