The Smell Of Baked Fresh Food Fullerton

By Rosanne Hays

The aroma of baked fresh food Fullerton can instantly remind some people of the time when they would come into their house and sneak a peek of grandma and mom busily getting a holiday dinner prepared for all the friends and relatives coming to share special day at your home. Their eyes dancing with delight at all the goodies.

The beautiful smells of pie, cakes, and cookies would draw them near. That is, until grandma snapped her wooden spoon and ushered you out into the living room. You would try to turn back to sneak something, but then you would see mom standing there with he spoon.

When you walked into the living room, you knew the smells were affecting your dad and grandpa, too. If you listened closely you could hear their stomach grumbling. You headed to your favorite place to sit, right on grandpa, and he happily sat you down on his lap. Your dad would glance over as you giggled at the stories grandpa whispered to you about when your dad was a boy.

When the front door burst opened with Aunts and Uncles carrying presents for the young ones. You hoped they brought something you liked, and secretly hoped your mom did not tell them to brings new pants or shirts. You always found a place in your heart to forgive a favorite Uncle or Aunt for listening to her, but this only reinforced your ill feelings towards the others.

When cousins arrived, you would all disappear to hiding places to share the latest news and gossip. Not truly realizing how much they would always mean to you as the years would pass.

There is nothing like the aroma of baked fresh food Fullerton to instantly snap one back to the days before life carried you away from those beautiful times filled with wonderment and love. This is something most people never tire of experiencing. Sometimes you wonder if this is how you grandchildren are going to feel when they get old. Read more about: Baked Fresh Food Fullerton
